Management Solutions supports the Down syndrome community
On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day and in support of this group, the Social Action Group of Management Solutions organized the 'Unmatched Socks' campaign, in which nearly 150 professionals from all our offices participated, in addition to other initiatives that took place this week in Poland, the United States, Peru and Colombia
Nearly 150 people participated in our Mismatched Socks Challenge, wearing different socks on each foot and sharing a photo on social networks to raise awareness and give visibility to the Down syndrome community and highlight the importance of their autonomy. The initiative had a double impact as the Firm, to encourage participation, purchased and distributed campaign socks from a number of foundations, including Aura (partner NGO of DOWN Spain), ASDRA (Down Syndrome Association of Argentina) and Down Syndrome Association UK, with the proceeds from the sale being used entirely to support the Down Syndrome community.
Also, this week the Firm is promoting other initiatives to support the Down syndrome community: in Poland, with participation in the "Colorful Socks" virtual race organized by the Coś Dobrego Foundation; in Bogota, by organizing an Active Breaks workshop in partnership with the Colombian Down Syndrome Corporation; in Boston, by participating in a training and networking session to help young people from Best Buddies make the transition to employment; and in Lima, by conducting a training program for young people from the Peruvian Down Syndrome Society. In addition, professionals from our other offices in the United States will soon be able to participate in another Best Buddies training session, this time in a virtual format, and in Spain, Management Solutions volunteers will organize a horseback riding activity for children with Down Madrid.
This is in addition to the many partnerships (volunteering, sponsorship, collaboration agreements, etc.) that Management Solutions has established since its inception with various foundations dedicated to helping people with Down syndrome.
