Recommendations for measuring and managing social impact. Maximising impact through management
The Social Impact Chair at Comillas Pontifical University presented its 'Recommendations for measuring and managing social impact. Maximizing impact through management' report, which offers the impact ecosystem some basic keys for developing a robust, rigorous and efficient social impact measurement system, based on the experience of a group of more than 80 different organizations that make up the Social Impact Chair think tank and its community of practice
The report, the third in a trilogy that began in 2021, discusses how to learn from measurement results for continuous impact optimization and proposes eight levers for organizations to develop a culture of impact management (access the report).
The presentation ceremony, held at the Comillas Pontifical University conference hall, was attended by Fabienne Michaux, Director of SDG Impact at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Lucas González-Ojeda, acting Head of the European Commission Representation in Spain, and Víctor Meseguer Sánchez, Special Commissioner for the Social Economy in the Spanish government.
To mark the launch of the report, Management Solutions, as a member of the Chair and its Steering Committee, hosted a breakfast meeting with Fabienne Michaux at its Torre Picasso headquarters in Madrid, attended by some of the country's leading impact managers from financial institutions, energy companies, cultural institutions and industry associations. Fabienne shared trends, challenges and perspectives on international standards for impact management, offering her insider's view as a leader in SDG Impact and participant in the Impact Management Platform.
