In order to collaborate with the Training Program for the Occupational Inclusion of Young People with Intellectual Disabilities (Promentor) launched by the Prodis Foundation, Management Solutions has signed a collaboration agreement with the Prodis Foundation
Through the collaboration agreement, Management Solutions reaffirms its commitment to the environment and society by committing to hiring workers with intellectual disabilities as part of the Prodis Foundation's Promentor program.
The Prodis Foundation, which seeks to provide the necessary support to people with intellectual disabilities to improve their quality of life and that of their families, launched the Promentor program in 2005, an initiative of Prodis professionals in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid, with the following main objectives:
- Collaborate with people with intellectual disabilities in the design of their Life Projects through individualized plans based on the methodology of Person-Centered Planning (PCP).
- Provide job training, tailored to individual differences, to enable them for labor inclusion in the ordinary company.
- To provide a continuous Supported Employment service, which promotes equal opportunities in the incorporation, maintenance and promotion of the job.
- To offer continuous lifelong training for workers who exercise their right to work in ordinary companies.
- Provide the necessary support so that workers with intellectual disabilities can enjoy their free time participating as full members of their community.
To achieve these objectives, the program is articulated through a two-fold approach, starting with a course of “Training for labor inclusion” (recognized by the Autonomous University as its own title) after which, all students who graduate, access the “Supported Employment” Program, which provides them with the necessary support to join the labor market.
