Created as part of the collaboration between Comillas ICAI (School of Engineering) and Comillas ICADE (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration), and supported by Management Solutions as a sponsor

The Chair for Hydrogen Studies, promoted by the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ICAI) and the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies (ICADE) at Comillas Pontifical University with the support of several sponsoring firms – Acerinox, BBVA, Carburos Metálicos, Cepsa Foundation, Enagás, Redeia (formerly Red Eléctrica España), Toyota and Management Solutions, was created with the aim of serving as a meeting point for all stakeholders in the hydrogen value chain and to contribute to the development of the renewable hydrogen sector in Spain.

The Chair will provide spaces for debate and reflection as well as training of specialized professionals and will create a pioneering knowledge think tank in Spain, with recognized experts that will study the role of hydrogen as a new energy vector in the transition process towards a decarbonized economy and develop proposals for new business models and necessary regulatory adaptations.
