Management Solutions was one of the firms to receive the 2015 Stela Prize, awarded annually by the Madrid Down Syndrome Foundation (Down Madrid) for their commitment to the employment of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities
Our Head of HR, Cristina López, collected the award on behalf of Management Solutions. The award was delivered by Coro Usandizaga, a member of the HR department at our Madrid office, who had worked in the Stela Project and was asked to give a speech on behalf of all participants in the program to thank families, the Foundation and other firms involved in the program for their integrating effort.
To strengthen its commitment to the employment of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities, in 2015 Management Solutions signed a cooperation agreement with Down Madrid as part of the "Empleo con apoyo Stela" program, aimed at facilitating and promoting the social and professional integration of people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities in regular work environments.
The event, held in the ONCE Auditorium in Madrid, was presided over by Vice Counselor for Finance and Employment in the Community of Madrid, Mr. Miguel Angel Garcia Martin, and Down Madrid Board Chair, Ms. Inés Alvarez, and was attended by around 500 people including representatives from the awarded companies, Down Madrid boys and girls and their families.
